Blog of Shivpuri District of Madhya Pradesh

District of Madhya Pradesh, in India. It used to be summer capital of erstwhile Gwalior State. It derives its name from God "Shiva". and was known earlier by the name ‘Sipri’. At present district headquarter Shivpuri is located on NH-3 (Agra-Bombay National Highway) at a 113 Km from Gwalior and 98 Km from Guna.
